Linthwaite (likewise pronounced Linfit by locals) occurs as village in the county of West Yorkshire, England, on the west side of Huddersfield.
A Flow of any stream Colne & a Huddersfield Narrow Canal both pass through the village.
These are the occupy little village by having V saloon, quite few require aways & a few eating house. A Sair Inn, residence to a Linfit brewery, won the CAMRA National Pub of the Season Award within 1997.
Linthwaite Hall on Linfit Fold was built about 1600.
Blackmoorfoot Reservoir is a wintering site for migrating wildfowl and wading birds.
